Cloud 9 Board Book

What a fun little book to put together. Shhh don't tell Naomi but this is for her! I printed out pictures in contact form so they are super tiny, perfect for this fun book. Next I adhered 2x2 Cloud 9 paper to each side of the board. Some corners I rounded.

Next I cut out the pictures using punches or scissors. Next came the bling bling..... I had fun using Cloud 9 chipboard stickers, jewls and tabs. I also added some sewing to some of the papers BEFORE placing them on the board.

Love My "Fiska" Shapes!

This is how I store my shapes. A three ring binder works wonderful!
Do you get confused on which side to place up?? If so, take your Sharpie marker and trace FISKARS. Now you will always know which side is up-the FISKARS side!
I use my label maker to put my name on them. Why? Because when people borrow them at scrapbooking events I know which ones are mine.

Enjoy using your fun shapes!!!

Fiskars finger tip knife

Here is a picture of the new Fiskars finger tip knife. It is ergonomically correct when holding it. You slip your pointer finger from underneath the circle and guide it with your thumb and pointer finger.... Have fun with this new tool!

Kaleidoscope Kreator Star

Here is a star I made for a friend for Christmas. I took a picture of her quilt and uploaded it and with the use of Kaleidoscope Kreator 2.0 transformed her quilt into a tree ornament! Use the fiskar finger craft knife to make cutting out the star a breeze!

"No Power" Mini Album

My home was one of thousands without power yesterday. So I decided to make the best of it and create an album without power. With a flashlight in hand, I went to work!

I started with a card and placed envelopes, pictures and mini pages (like the one on the front) inside. Next, I hole punched 4 spots for the paper fasteners. I used the Crop-A-Dile to punch through all of the layers.

I also used the new Fiskar corner squeeze punch throughout the album.

With the envelopes I used them to hold additional photos eg. extra pictures on hand.

I stapled ribbon on some of the edges and hand journaled throughout.....

Go ahead---Challange Yourself---Make a "No Power" project!!
